About Kopy Café

Kopy Café is one of those breakfast spots you end up recommending without even trying, because it instantly feels right the moment you arrive. Located along Nimmana Haeminda Road Lane 9 in Chiang Mai, Kopy Café sits comfortably in a relaxed neighborhood that matches its easygoing personality. As someone introducing the place, I usually describe it as a breakfast restaurant that understands mornings, whether you are easing into the day with a slow coffee or grabbing a quick bite before heading out. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with outdoor seating that works perfectly for sunny Chiang Mai mornings and unhurried conversations. Inside, the setup feels simple yet thoughtful, making it just as comfortable for solo visitors as it is for small groups. What really defines Kopy Café is how naturally everything flows, from the service to the menu. Coffee is clearly a highlight, and it pairs effortlessly with the selection of small plates and quick bites designed for sharing or enjoying on your own. The menu leans toward flexible dining, so whether you prefer dine-in comfort, takeout convenience, or delivery on a busy morning, the options are there without fuss. Later in the day, happy hour drinks and happy hour food add another layer to the experience, turning a breakfast-focused spot into an easy place to linger longer than planned. I often tell people that Kopy Café works because it does not try too hard. It focuses on being consistent, approachable, and enjoyable, which makes it easy to return again and again. The location, the relaxed breakfast vibe, and the range of service options all come together in a way that feels natural rather than forced. It is the kind of café where mornings feel less rushed, conversations last a little longer, and good coffee quietly sets the tone for the rest of the day.

This is always one of my favourite breakfast stops in Chiang Mai! The taste is great and the prices are super reasonable. I love the outdoor dining, perfect on the winter morning too! I noticed this time on my visit there’s a new QR scan ordering system which seemed really efficient and the food/drinks came quickly. I saw a lot of negative reviews for wait and service but honestly it’s never been my experience here :)

We arrived at Kopy Café close to noon on a weekday. It was empty and we opted to sit outside. They had plenty of seat options indoors too. The menu is pretty good with various Thai breakfast options, like boiled rice with different toppings, egg platter, different dips with toasted or steamed bread. We ordered our usuals and the food arrived pretty quick. It was well seasoned and tasted great! The service was pretty minimal. No complaints from me as we got everything we needed. The toasted bread was a hit for us, the pandan dip was the perfect amount of sweet and the boiled rice had a lot of pork toppings. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a breakfast option.

Thai style restaurant. Went for breakfast. Nothing overly special about the place. Seating inside and outside. We choose outside. Tables not very clean and since there are untreated wood, they can’t really be cleaned well. Food was good. We both had rice soup. Overall, o real complaints.

Lovely restaurants mixed between Northern Thai and China style. I gave 10/10 for the style but wasn’t sure for the food. The food was not bad but not so special. A little bit pricy. There are indoor and outdoor. No parking space provided.

LOVE THIS!! Reminds me of my childhood!! Decors of old style congee/coffee shop offers hot/iced Ovaltine drink, Thai/Chinese Coffees/Teas. Has some traditional congee and rice soup breakfast mix with westernized breakfast. Flavor of food was good, just the whole vibe reminds me of childhood.
